Frequently asked questions about cruising.

Staterooms on a ship are considered hotel rooms on land.

Ocean view stateroom has a window looking out. However there is no access to the outdoors from within an ocean view room.

If you are claustrophobic, an ocean view room is highly recommended.

Interior staterooms are rooms within the body of the ship.

If you enjoy total darkness for sleeping, this room is highly recommended.

Absolutely no staterooms are below the water level!!

Stateroom registration on the ship includes most meal options including all buffets, room service meals (Gratuities extra), and most non alcoholic beverages. There will be options to purchase specialty coffees, desserts and specialty cuisine.

This is considered a private group similar to a wedding group!

All cruise bookings must go through Barbie’s Musical Adventures to participate in the Caribbean Classic Country & Bluegrass Cruise.

Any bookings made on your own will not allow attendance to the our special private music events.

This will be strictly enforced for the enjoyment of our compliant passengers.

All deposits must be paid by credit card as soon as possible to guarantee space.

Music Package Payment

$200 per person to be paid by cheque, cash, money order or PayPal payable in US funds by Nov 23, 2017 to:   Barbie’s Musical Adventures.

Beverage packages

It is highly recommended that the alcohol and soda pop packages be purchased on the first day to avoid large bills at end of cruise.

These packages are great if you consume more than 3 beverages of each per day.

Alcoholic Beverage Package:  information coming soon

Soda Pop Package: information coming soon

These packages must be bought on the first day.

You have to buy for every day that the cruise runs. 4-day cruise = 4-day package.

You cannot buy for just one or two days.

You can bring 2 bottles of wine or 750 ml of Champagne on ship.

Recommended gratuities of $64.75 per person is an additional fee.

*Gratuities can be prepaid or paid before leaving ship.

These gratuities are split among crew on ship including dining room wait staff.

It is not mandatory so if person doesn’t feel staff deserves it, the gratuities does not have to be paid.

I would just ask that passengers be mindful and respectful of the staffs’ duties.
